Veritas Academy / Finding the heartbeat of Classical Eduction

A student reflects on the collection of moments that formed their learning experience.

Project Information

When Veritas Academy approached Thread to help envision a cornerstone film piece to anchor their marketing efforts, we knew we didn't want to make the typical school anthem video. You know, the one that could be any school's film if you just swap out the logo at the end?

Instead we wanted to lean into what makes Veritas unique - like the ceremony where they knight kindergartners with a real sword, and the way their high school students were discussing books we've never even heard of.

As we spent time at the school observing teachers, and talking to students, we were struck by how successful the school seems to be at producing "Loving, Thinking Students."

We worked with Veritas Academy to create a film that speaks to the heart of a parent, and shows the potential ups and downs of their child's learning experience. We're thankful that Veritas' marketing team resonated with this vision, and trusted us to bring the concept to life.
