Project Overview

LUCA approached Thread in early 2022 to create a brand film using food imagery for their new restaurant venture: Pizzeria LUCA. Taylor and Leeann Mason's vision for the pizzeria is to create a vibrant, fun, and approachable eatery that pays homage to the little pizzerias found throughout Italy.

Pre-launch

A New Concept

We leaned into the creative direction, shooting the food within a bold color palette, and incorporating photos that Matt had taken on a recent trip to the Italian coast. In the edit, we created an energetic and rowdy cut, further breaking the concept away from fine dining.

Post-Launch

The Space

We had the pleasure of working with Pizzeria LUCA again post launch to create additional lifestyle and food imagery for their brand. We wanted to create images that fully encompass the Pizzeria LUCA experience including interiors, exteriors, lifestyle, and food imagery. We came for the photos, stayed for the pizza.
