Meet Suzanna đŸ‘‹ Suzanna grew up in Ukraine designing posters for friends and never really stopped. With roots in fine art and a love for color (thanks, Monet), her work brings craft, feeling, and clarity in equal measure. She’s a fine artist–turned–designer, tiramisu aficionado, and fluent in four languages (no big deal).

Where are you from?

Chernivtsi, Ukraine

What/where did you study?

Fine & studio arts in Ukraine, Graphic & interactive design at Harrisburg Area Community College.

Why graphic design?

Since I was artistic from a young age, people often asked me to create things like posters, announcements, and apparel for school and youth events. Without realizing it, I was stepping into the graphic design territory. As my interest and the requests increased, I chose to pursue it professionally.

Fav inspiration?

Claude Monet’s use of texture and color in his paintings inspires me, sometimes even in my work as a graphic designer.

Fav dessert?

Tiramisu!

Why Thread?

Thread is a very unique place and I love the culture,
the people, and
the open studio
that encourages collaboration, great conversations, and plenty of coffee.
